The Michigan Department of Education is seeking input from child care providers. Please see the request below from Lisa Brewer Walraven, Director of the Child Development and Care Program in the Office of Great Start.
The Child Development and Care (CDC) program helps many Michigan families pay for child care. The child care subsidy payment rates increased in July 2017 because providers like you completed a survey regarding child care prices. Don’t miss this opportunity to influence future child care subsidy payment rates!
Even if you do not accept subsidy payments, information about the prices you charge will help to make sure that the program’s reimbursement rates are fair.
Please use the following link to access the survey: https://secure3.surveynetwork.com/MICDC/
The survey will take less than 15 minutes. When you finish the survey, you will be entered into a random drawing for one of ten Visa gift cards. These are worth $100 each!
Please note: If you are not the person best able to answer questions about your program, please forward this email to the right person.
If you operate multiple programs, each with a separate license or registration number, please fill out a survey for each program. To be prepared for the survey, have your enrollment numbers and rates handy.
If you have questions about completing the survey for multiple locations or need assistance with completing the survey, the survey team can be reached at 1-800-665-8449 or ppa@publicpolicy.com.
Thank you for participating and for all you do for children every day!
