A Message from our Barb Monroe; Office for Young Children
Dear Partners,
Due to funding changes, the Office for Young Children (OYC) will be closing March 30, 2018.
The staff at OYC is proud to reflect upon all the accomplishments that have resulted in increased quality experiences for our children. We are honored that we have been part of those stories over the years and value all the efforts you put forth. Our staff continues to be committed to the early childhood field. You will still see many of us in the early childhood community in different capacities. It has truly been our pleasure to serve the early childhood community!
The Resource Center will be moving to a new local location (TBD) under the leadership of the Midland County Educational Services Agency. Watch for more information coming soon. You can continue to access the Central Resource Center via the toll-free number at 877-614-7328. The Great Start to Quality Resource Center will continue to provide assistance with increasing quality in programs. This includes completing the Self-Assessment Survey (SAS), training opportunities, Lending Library access, and coaching/consultations.
In addition, access to training resources will be available on the new MiRegistry beginning in April! MiRegistry will support a variety of your training needs, including keeping a transcript for you. The website is: http://miregistry.org/
Thank you for your dedication to our children!
