Michigan is home to 333,798 babies birth to three years of age, representing 3.3 percent of the state’s population. Now more than ever, the mental health of our youngest Michiganders needs our recognition and support to be protected and nurtured. This Celebrate Babies Week is time to simply pause and celebrate not only our babies, but all of the often-unrecognized hard work and commitment of all of those who care for, love, educate, provide services for our babies, young children and their families.
We are delighted to share some highlights for this year – from our first video montage, to our second year of a formal Governor’s proclamation, to our first official kick off video from Governor Whitmer. Join us to find a way to celebrate the unique wonder and opportunity that only happens during the first three years of life.
