PLEASE SHARE: Return to Child Care: What to Expect Webinar (March 19th at 11:00am)

Last fall, the Michigan Women’s Commission conducted a “Survey of Child Care Use During the Pandemic.” The survey results have been shared with Governor Gretchen Whitmer, the MI Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity, the MI Department of Education and other partners – and the parent input has helped shape our state’s pandemic responses, as well as innovative initiatives to stabilize the child care industry and make care available and affordable for more families.

Amid the survey responses, we heard a call for more information about attending licensed child care as we move out of a pandemic and into our “new normal.” To help answer questions, we invite all Michigan parents considering child care options to join our “Return to Child Care: What to Expect” webinar with pediatricians and child care providers this Friday, March 19, at 11:00am.
