The Operations Committee of Ingham GSC is comprised of volunteers from the Ingham Great Start Collaborative, and includes broad representation of different sectors of membership, including parents.
The duties of this committee include, but are not limited to:
- Planning the agenda for GSC meetings;
- Drafting the annual Work Plan and Budget and bringing to the GSC for approval;
- Acting as the steering committee for the annual assessment process;
- Assisting in drafting and preparing grant applications in support of the GSC;
- Reviewing and providing recommendations on personnel and contracts;
- Assisting in building formal system operating procedures and policies;
- Acting on behalf of the Great Start Collaborative in situations that are urgent and require immediate action.
